Beer & Galletti Rabbit

Crispy fried rabbit with a beer & galletti crust. 

 

Ingredients for 2 persons:

Dry Coating: 

  • 4 Rabbit Legs

  • 3cups All-Purpose Flour

  • 2tbsp Smoked Paprika

  • 1tsp Salt

  • 1tsp White Pepper

  • 1tsp Oregano

  • 1tsp Garlic Powder

  • 1/2tsp Celery Salt

  • 1/2tsp Mustard Powder

  • Maltese Galletti



    Wet Coating:

  • 1 Whole Egg

  • 1 Can of Ice-Cold Beer

  • 1cup All-Purpose Flour

  • Vegetable Oil for Deep Frying

Directions:

  1. Start by combining all the dry ingredients in a bowl except the galletti.

  2. Combine the wet ingredients in another bowl.

  3. Pass the rabbit legs from the dry mixture making a thin coat and remove the excess.

  4. Crush the galletti and add them to the dry ingredients.

  5. Pass the rabbit through the wet mixture followed by the galletti mixture.

  6. Always remove the excess and optionally repeat for a thicker coating. 

  7. Fry in hot oil for about 15 minutes depending on the size of the rabbit legs.
